all is good
The first time Ive heard the name HOTFOREX, honestly I was in major doubt, and didn’t even bother, that was around early last year, but I’ve noticed a lot of my trader friends joining and I was like left out, tho the main reason I had to look for a new broker last September was disconnection issues, to make a long story short, here I am now trading with hotforex with no regrets what so ever, a really good stable broker, decent support and easy withdrawals, I’m happy with this broker.
Carefull with the platform
I have been trading with Hot Forex since June 2011 (more than 6 months and almost USD 3.000 deposit).
At the beginning (early 3 month) they showed awesome performance : platform (MT4), support , deposit/withdraw, bonus, etc BUT after 3 month they same problem appeared consistently : MT4 freeze, unable to login live (demo ok), my live account didnt recognized by system (invalid account error). This occurred more than 5 times in total. I emailed the support then the next day they replied sound nicely, after the problem solved, several day later the same problem come again.
Whatever they do with the server if it affected to trading platform /system it will hit us with loss even MC.
If Hot Forex not resolve the problem soon, they will lost their loyal customer and new customer should think thousand times before joining.
I am Happy
I am a Muslim student and I always liked the idea to trade forex but have not found the right opportunity till I got an advise from a cousin to use a demo account with hotforex and then upgrade to live small account with 5 usd ) ... it worked out well and I have now an Islamic account and I trade without having any wrong idea .. while making profits or when losing time to time,
my first exprience trading was with hotforex and it continues till now .. for the moment am still learning and I think the company is ok.
Scam Alert
They Don't Care About Clients' Privacy Details. I’m none of Hotforex employee but on 30/09/2011 John Watson asked me to contact one of their client in Indonesia becuse they wondering if credit card used by that client to made deposit was a stolen CC. To contact the client of course he gave me that client’s detail. Regarding to privacy concern, is that what good broker does? You can see screen shoot of our chat here:

They Reimbursed Some of Clients' Fund Just To Keep Their Rating On Some Forum HIGH. We read on some forums that in some cases like their MT4 server down they reimbursed clients’ fund. Did they reimburse all of clients or just them whom made a bad reviews/complaints in wellknown forums?
If they really STP/ECN such order must already went through interbank/liquidity, how come they reimbursed such losing trade?
