I was nervous at first when reading some reviews but decided to trust some recent reviews stating that GCI was a decent broker (it does seem the negative reviews are written by 2 or 3 individuals and on the same websites). I've called them concerning some reviews and they provided satisfying answers. I initially deposited $10k (early 2011) and have been trading with them since. My first withdraw request was nerve-racking but all went well and my money was transferred the following day.

I've only traded with GCI Financial so I can't really compare to any other broker. The trader who got me up and running with Forex was using GCI so it seemed a no-risk choice to go with them. I must say I've not had many problems and once you "learn" what you can or can't do with the platform/broker your good. I guess it's the same with any other broker.

Not so many symbols to trade with, could use more pairs

Not used to giving feedback but felt I'd do an exception for once, and what I can say is: What a breath of fresh air! I was really starting to believe that the forex market was all full of s*** brokers. GCI proved me wrong! It's unbeleivable how helpful they have been and the service did not change an ounce when I went for a live account.
I'd recommend this broker to anyone who is looking for a serious and hassle-free broker or anyone who is loosing faith in the fx market :-)
